Fractional sales leader. 30 years. Real results.
I've spent over 30 years building, breaking, and rebuilding B2B sales organizations — from individual contributor to VP of Sales to Divisional President. Now I bring that experience directly to Louisville founders and executives who need results, not theory.
Why fractional, and why now
I started my career as an individual contributor — cold calling, closing, and learning what actually moves deals forward. Over the next two decades I moved through every level of sales leadership: territory manager, regional director, VP of Sales, and eventually Divisional President. I've run revenue organizations for founder-led companies, private equity-backed businesses, and publicly traded firms across distribution, manufacturing, building products, and professional services. One of my early hires — a candidate the organization questioned — went on to earn multiple promotions over 20 years and now serves as CEO of that company.
What I kept encountering was the same problem: brilliant founders juggling too many balls, or growth-stage companies with a sales team that wasn't performing and no one who could diagnose why. What I continue to see now is still the same — companies needing experienced sales leadership and better processes. But for many of them a full-time VP of Sales is either too expensive, too slow to hire, or too risky to commit to. So, they stay stuck.
Fractional Uplifts exists to bridge that gap. Based in Louisville, KY, I work embedded with your team — not as an advisor who sends decks, but as a hands-on fractional sales leader who builds the systems, coaches the people, and drives the outcomes. You get the experience of a seasoned VP of Sales at a fraction of the cost and commitment. No ramp time. No equity. No guessing.

The right fit for fractional sales leadership
Most of my clients are B2B companies in Louisville and the surrounding region — manufacturers, distributors, professional services firms, and growth-stage businesses — that need experienced sales leadership but aren't ready for a full-time hire.
How I think about sales leadership
Process beats talent
Great salespeople fail in broken systems. The first job of a sales leader is to build an environment where good people can succeed — clear process, clean pipeline, honest forecasting.
Accountability is a gift
The best thing you can do for a sales rep is hold them to a high standard and give them the tools to meet it. Ambiguity is the enemy of performance.
Revenue is a team sport
Sales doesn't happen in isolation. The best revenue organizations I've built had tight alignment between sales, marketing, product, and customer success. I build bridges, not silos.
